Products / Ripple Socks Kit
Our March 2018 SockStitch project kit welcomes Spring with a sock pattern that evokes thoughts of the early morning ripples found on the silent pond or the untouched sand at the seashore.
One skein of Polka Dot Sheep's (PDS) Tenderfoot 80/20, an 80% merino and 20% nylon blend. A fingering weight yarn, wound in a 400-yard skein, this durable fiber has a subtle sheen making it a perfect option for shawls, socks, or sweaters. Receive one skein in PDS' one-of-a-kind colorway, Free Spirit.
PostStitch's Ripple Socks are knit from the top down, using the magic loop method, and feature "slouchy" detail throughout the leg, and Eye of the Partridge Heel, and a square toe. Though structured in its design, the “slouch” detailing featured in the leg gives the sock a comfy and relaxed feel, and plays well with the randomness of the yarn's color splatters.
Stitch Marker Enamel Pin Pair Finally a stitch marker that won't end up in between the couch cushions. Put these adorable pins on your project bag, or keep one for you and give one to a friend.
This project calls for a needle sized to meet an 8 sts = 1" gauge over stockinette. Needle not included with this kit.
