What is PostStitch?

PostStitch is a subscription service curated by two veteran knitters that sends a surprise monthly knitting project to knitters across the globe. 

What comes in a PostStitch subscription?

PostStitch is available in 3 subscription options: BigStitch, BigStitch Lite, and SockStitch. Each subscription features 1 beginner to intermediate skill level knitting project. BigStitch ($60/month) subscribers receive 1-2 skeins of yarn, printed pattern, needles, and notions. BigStitch Lite ($40/month) is an abridged version of BigStitch and features the same printed pattern and yarn, and some notions. SockStitch ($40/month) features a printed pattern, yarn, and some notions.

How am I charged? 

Subscriptions auto-renew on the last day of each month (with the exception of multi-month, prepaid subscriptions, which auto-renew on the last day of the term month) and kits are shipped the next business day. The credit card saved in your account will be automatically charged. If billing fails, our system will retry your card for 3-days. During the time you can update your card information by logging in to your account. We are always here to help - email us at

Explain the shipping process. 

All subscriptions ship on the 1st of each month (or closest business day thereafter). We ship all subscriptions, including International orders, via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. When your subscription ships on the 1st, you will receive an email with tracking information.

Non-subscription items purchased in our Stash Shop will be shipped immediately and sent via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. 

PostStitch is not responsible for any additional taxes or duty fees placed on international orders.

Can I manage my account?

You can manage your account by logging in here. Once you are logged in you can switch your subscription type and terms, update your shipping address and credit card information, skip a month, or even cancel your account. Make sure to make any changes to your account before the last day of the month when your subscription is renewed. 

Can I Specify what I receive?

We curate each PostStitch project to include new and/or sought after yarn and notions from some of the industry's most revered talents. It is our hope that we inspire you to cast on a new type of project, learn a new skill, or try a new-to-you colorway. If you don't click with the pattern we send, each month we create a Pinterest board with alternative pattern suggestions, which call for the same tools you received. However, if you have a specific dislike for a colorway, please let us know and we will make a note on your account not to send that color. You can email us at

Can I return my subscription kit? 

Because of the surprise nature of PostStitch, we do not accept returns. However, if something arrives to you damaged or missing, we will absolutely work with you to make it right. If you do not like the colorway you received, we may be able to swap it out for you. Just give us a shout at
